In Their Words ...........

Strathaven Golf Club is proud of the course design that has been developed over the past century. A gently undulating and beautiful tree-lined course with USGA standard greens, the layout is enjoyable and challenging for all levels of ability. Having hosted both professional and international amateur events we are proud of what we have achieved and would like to share the playing experience with you.

An 18 hole (6,263 yds) golf course. Strathaven Golf Course was first established in its current location in 1907. Willie Fernie, Troon the 1883 Open Champion, designed the original 9 holes, an additional nine holes were added making an eighteen hole parkland course that opened for play to members and visitors on the 13th March 1965.
