In their Words…….
Our golf club is situated north east of Glasgow in the town of Kirkintilloch (“Canal capital of Scotland”) within easy reach of the M80 motorway. One of the main reasons we receive so many visitors each year to our club is the fact that our course is one of the finest parkland courses in the area.
Originally designed in 1895 by golf course design legend James Braid, with the layout suited to golfers of all abilities and ages with a relatively flat layout.
The wonderful scenery with the Campsie Hills as a backdrop to the course always makes a round of golf at “Todhill” a pleasant experience. The 18 hole par 70 (css 69) rolling parkland course measures 5860 yards providing spectacular, panaromic views along the Kelvin Valley. The course itself provides an enjoyable walk with no major hills to be negotiated, no long walks between tees and an excellent course layout.
Consistent accuracy and sound course management is required by players of all levels, and even those golfers blessed with single figure handicaps will find a challenge in maintaining par against the often prevailing breeze (or stronger!).
After your round why not join us for a drink and a bite to eat. We have laid our 19th hole menu like a golf scorecard so why not chosse a couple of dishes from the front and back 9, you’ll not be disappointed!.
