Dougalston is a real parkland treat measuring 6,120 yards and with beautiful tree-lined fairways, natural water hazards and stunning views over the Campsie Fells, you’ll find it hard to believe that it lies just seven miles north of Glasgow.
The full 18-hole layout opened fairly recently and, although it took the new holes a few months to get up to speed, the finished project proved that it was well worth the wait and, as a result, the course and accompanying health club have now become immensely popular for visitors.
As soon as you head out onto the course, you’re greeted by one of the many water hazards that can be found. The first requires a tee shot over a large pond, although by all means get the driver out and lash one over the trees towards the green. Pull that shot off and you could get off to an eagle start. There are many great holes throughout your round, although the par-3 18th, with water far right and bunkers on both sides of the green, provides a wonderful finish.
Dougaslton Golf Club is unlike your traditional golf club. Not only do we have a fantastic 18 hole golf course, our facilties also include a state of the art gym, 5 indoor tennis courts along with 4 outside courts.
If that wasn’t enough, we have our club lounge where you can enjoy our food and drink whenever your tee time.

Nicely designed course, some really memorable holes.Spoiled in two areas:Members don't seem to get the point of... repairing pitch marks. I averaged 6 per hole.Secondly the golfers lounge was filthy. Every table needed a good clean and a hoover.Shame - course let down by it's people.read more

Booked through bunkered voucher disappointing to say the leastArrived prior to our booking nobody seemed to know... what was happening the pro shop was shut went to main reception to pay only to be informed they do not accept cash luckily one of our party had his card. Had booked two buggies only one available had to wait while they located another one.On the back of the voucher they are advertising a meal deal tried to book it but again nobody knew anything about it and then when we returned after our round tried to buy food only to be told the kitchen was shut as the dishwasher wasnt working. A pity a tight course could be better signposted between holes couldn't fault the condition of the course. Dont think we would return unless changes are maderead more

This is a challenging and varied course and good value for money. But if you're a Hooray Henry who on other courses... thrashes about via adjacent fairways, you would need to learn to play properly before playing hereread more

Recently joined and it's a very tough test of golf with very challenging and varied holes. The condition of the course... is improving week on week with the better weather and it will be at its peak in a few weeks which will be a joy to play.read more

Played today as part of the bunkered live event. Luckily this was a free round of golf, we walked off after 11 holes!... The course layout looks really good however course condition is absolutely shocking. Tee boxes are basically mud or like hitting from the rough! Greens are easily the worst I've ever played on! Extremely underwhelming. Really frustrating after playing this course (dump) and would avoid at all cost. the price of fuel at the moment is sky high and I feel I just wasted my fuel.read more

Your promotion video on Facebook was far from the true nature of the course, Tee boxes all burnt grass, Fairways and... greens in poor condition. Your groundsman decided to cut the grass on the back 9 everytime we took a shot he was there cutting away, We had to wait for him to move in order to tee off!! Maybe in future get the hose out and look after the course. No bins, Litter and old tees everywhere. £35 pound a round and it was worse than a bog standard council course. Will not be back.read more

Disappointed. I managed to get a half price rate but even with that I felt I overpaid. The course was in terrible... condition, I appreciate the weather hasn't helped but there hasn't been another course I've played recently that looked like this. Vegetation growing in bunkers, tee boxes the worst I've seen, fairways were awful. The course has so much potential but it's not being realised.read more
