Coursetype: A championship links course full of the usual fast running fairways, undulating greens, whins and gorse however more unusually there are trees to contend with. Two courses the Championship Barassie Links and the Hillhouse Links Course.

Pro-Shop: The pro-shop is well stocked with all the equipment you will need including clothing, bags, clubs, shoes, golf balls, ball markers, pitch mark repair tools, towels, hats, confectionery etc. Lessons are available to all level of players from beginner upwards

Kilmarnock Barassie Golf Club is located on the outskirts of Troon on Scotland’s West Coast. We have an extensive history and have been offering golfers a magnificent links golf challenge in Ayrshire since 1887. The Club is always delighted to welcome visitors from all over Europe, the United States as well as all corners of the UK and Ireland.
Within striking distance of Royal Troon, Prestwick and Turnberry, the course is an Open Championship Final Qualifying venue with a well-deserved reputation for some of the best maintained greens in Scotland. The Club has twenty seven holes with which to test the golfer, we are sure you’ll find what you’re looking for and look forward to welcoming you to the challenges of links golf.
Barassie Links is the Championship Layout at Barassie and can present even the best golfer with a challenge. The course offers a mix of the old and the new. Nine holes from the original course and a new nine built in 1997. Four sets of tees – Red, Yellow, White and Blue – offer a graduated challenge taking the course length off the back tees to more than 7000 yards.
Kilmarnock (Barassie) Golf Club prides itself not only on the quality of its golf courses but also in the quality of welcome and service it offers both members and guests alike.
