In their Words…….
Kemnay Golf Club was established in 1908. Situated in the heart of Rural Aberdeenshire. Until 1987 the course comprised a short 9-hole layout at which point the purchase of an additional sixteen acres of adjoining land allowed a the formation of an extended 9-hole course. Further purchase of farm and forestry land allowed the course to be extended to 18 holes
Finally another purchase of 26 acres of farm land was obtained in 1997 which resulted in the current layout as shown here. This well-maintained and challenging parkland course measures some 6375 yards and has a par of 71.
The course presents golfers of all standards with a set of unique challenges testing both power and placement. This beautifully presented course has manicured and subtly contoured greens set against a backdrop of beautiful Aberdeenshire scenery.
After their game, members and visitors may relax in the comfortable new clubhouse and enjoy a delicious freshly cooked meal and refreshments. It’s amazing how, in the bar afterwards, a good round turns into a great one and a bad one into a hard luck story. At our clubhouse you can relax and discuss the days golf.Kemnay Golf Club
