For a council track this must be the best in Scotland.Credit to the green keepers , the course is in fantastic condition despite some harsh rain as of late .I challenge anyone to find a better course for a non member to play for 25 quid .Absolutely fantastic

A very good course, a few dog legs some up and down par 3s and most greens are up and down as well which I personally enjoy. Over all well maintained. Some challenging holes to say the least, well especially if your having a bad day with the driver (as I was) if you don't hit the fairway on some holes say good bye to your ball, maybe an idea just to lay up on some holes 😉

In their Words…….

Converted from a 9-hole into an 18-hole course in the 1970’s, the Hazlehead Pines course offers more forgiveness to miss-hits from the tee. The course was re-designed in the early seventies by Brian Hugget, Neil Coles and Roger Dyer, who were renowned for producing inviting challenges through their golf course designs. The Hazlehead Pines also provides a fair test for the golf enthusiast with wide fairways and less rough.

Be sure to keep an eye out at the 12th tee and the approach to the green on the 17th for stunning views of the city and towards the sea and take a moment to soak up the surroundings of this fantastic course.
