Braemar Golf Club Reviews

In their Words…….
Braemar Golf Club was founded in March 1902, during the latter part of the golfing boom in Scotland. In 1910 the lease of Cavan’s Park was agreed, with the extended course opening in August 1911. Further changes were made to the layout of the course and in 1930 the present eighteen hole layout was completed.
Braemar is the highest 18 hole golf course in Scotland at around 1,200 feet above sea level. The greens are amongst the finest in the area and the course is very popular with holiday makers and golfing societies thanks to this unique location the course is full of interesting wildlife, so don’t be surprised if you come across a deer or two whilst out on the course
In the early 1990’s the funds of the Club once again flourished and attention turned to the inadequacies of the Clubhouse. Plans for a new Clubhouse were developed and the new Clubhouse finally opened to the Public in April 2000. You are assured of a warm welcome on your visit to the Clubhouse Bar Serving an All-Day snack and lunch menu as well as coffee and Homemade cakes and tray-bakes you are ensured an enjoyable dining experience together with beautiful views of the course and surrounding mountains.
