Lovely wee course with very friendly members. We turned up and tried to book using the app but it wasn't working. Spoke to the green keeper Gary who kindly took our payment. Course was in superb condition - will be back

Golf course closed during lock down. But grass maintenance has still been maintained to a high standard. Hope to open soon.

Nicely contoured 9 hole course. Tricky and challenging and not too long. No pressure golf. Great experience and not expensive.

Lovely course, perfect for beginners as well as seasoned golfers wanting to keep their hand in. Reasonably priced too. Though many holes are par 3 or short par 4s, it is still an interesting course to play. I only wish the road approaching the course could be repaired, the potholes are as big as some of the course bunkers (well, almost)!

The course itself is well kept and neat. The patrons how ever I found to be very rude and not at all friendly. After my first game back in over 10 years I felt I had a good game, however I was hounded by people on the course to "hurry up". I happily let people pass, who then went onto put their ball way out of bounds off the tee and was unrecoverable. If you use the same club from tee to putter and keep your head down, play hockey to get the ball up the field quickly then you will be fine here.

In their Words…….

Auchenblae Golf Course is a short but demanding nine-hole course hidden away in rural Aberdeenshire. It is, however, easily accessible from the A90. Boasting picturesque views of the local countryside and beyond, this course is rather pleasing to the eye – that doesn’t mean it can’t throw up a challenge or two.

The course has small hard-to-hit greens that are a famous feature of this course and many find getting on the green in regulation a common problem – even the regulars. It is an absolute joy to play in the summer months and is one of the more popular nine-holers in the Northeast. The course record of 60, though, will take some beating.
